These Terms and Conditions apply to all transactions between us and yourself. They do not affect your statutory rights. Please read them carefully.
We may change these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will take effect on the date they are posted on our website.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by English law and are subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. We do not accept amendments to these Terms and Conditions.
Failure by us to enforce any of these Terms and Conditions will not affect our right to enforce the rest of these terms and conditions.
We will treat each order for goods as an offer by you to purchase the goods subject to these terms and conditions.
To order goods over the telephone or on our website, you must accept delivery within the UK or Republic of Ireland, the European Union or the rest of the world. We reserve the right to cancel an order which we feel may pose a risk of fraud. All telephone orders will be acknowledged verbally at the time of order, and all orders placed on our website will be acknowledged electronically by e-mail. Please note that verbal and/or electronic acknowledgements do not constitute order confirmation or order acceptance. Your order will be accepted and the creation of a legally binding contract between you and us will take place once the goods have been dispatched or collected. (Alternatively, we may decline all or part of your order for any reason, in which case we will inform you in-person or by telephone or e-mail). We also reserve the right to cancel your order without informing you.
When deciding whether or not to accept your order we may use certain information about you, including any received from credit reference agency checks. This helps to protect you and us against fraudulent transactions.
We will tell you if your payment details cannot be authorised for any reason and may invite you to pay by another method.
The total price payable will be stipulated at the time when you place your order whether or not the order has been acknowledged. We are entitled to make adjustments to the price to take account of any increase in our suppliers' prices, or the imposition of any taxes or duties, or if due to an error or omission the price published for the goods is wrong whether or not the order has been acknowledged. We will inform you of the correct price and give you the opportunity to cancel the order. All prices are inclusive of VAT but exclusive of delivery charges which will be payable as indicated at the time the order is placed.
From time to time the prices displayed on our website may be different if you are directed to it from a third party website. Purchases at these prices can only be made on our website and by arriving on it through a relevant third party website; these prices will not be available in-store or over the telephone.
Prices, offers and products are subject to availability and may change before (but not after) we accept your order. If a product becomes unavailable we may offer you an alternative.
On occasion, the prices payable and promotions offered in respect of goods advertised on the website may differ from those prices and promotions offered at the same time in-store. We are under no obligation to honour any in-store price or promotion in the event that they differ from those on the website. Similarly, our store is under no obligation to honour any website price or promotion in the event that they differ from those in-store.
Although we endeavour to ensure that all pricing information on the website is accurate, occasionally an error may occur and goods may be mispriced. If we discover a pricing error we will, at our discretion, either: contact you and ask you whether you wish to cancel your order or continue with the order at the correct price; or notify you that we have cancelled your order. We will not be obliged to supply goods at the incorrect price.
Prices that are reduced for sales and promotions are only valid for the specified period.
Your order is sent directly to our secure system for processing. Once we have received your order and payment, our staff will pick, pack and dispatch the item. We will aim to do this within 24 hours providing the goods are in stock, however sometimes we may need to order your item from our suppliers. During busy periods we offer no guarantee on despatch times and delivery times.
You can track the progress of your order at any time by logging into My Account from the Home page on this website.
For UK orders over £100, we offer FREE DELIVERY. For all orders under £100, delivery is charged at £3.99 per item, however if you order 2 or more of the same item, you will only be charged delivery once. All orders will be processed within 24 hours of receipt. All orders will be sent by Royal Mail. Lower value items will be sent by Royal Mail 48, which is usually a 2-3 working day delivery from dispatch. Shoes and higher value items will be sent by Royal Mail 48 Tracked, which is a 2 working day delivery from dispatch. Items shown as "in stock" will be dispatched within 24 hours and will take 1-2 working days to arrive from dispatch. Items shown as "available to order" can take between 2-10 working days to arrive, depending on availability from our suppliers. Please contact us for an accurate delivery estimate if your item is shown as "available to order" and you need the product urgently.
Next day delivery is available at an extra cost, providing your item is in stock. Please call us on 01903 533099 for this service.
If you are unsure about the availability of your item, please contact us to confirm estimated delivery. If you wish to cancel your order after it has been dispatched, you will be charged for initial delivery and will be liable for the cost of the return postage.
International orders from within the European Union (EU) will be charged at £9.99 per item. Again, if you order two or more of the same item, you will only be charged delivery once. All EU orders will be sent by Royal Mail International Tracked & Signed, which typically takes 3-7 working days to arrive from dispatch.
International orders from outside the European Union (Rest Of World) will be charged at £19.99 per item. The same conditions as above apply. All International (Rest Of World) orders will be sent by Royal Mail International Tracked & Signed, which typically takes 7-14 working days to arrive from dispatch.
The reason we have to charge delivery per item is that the majority of orders will have to be sent in separate parcels to ensure they are covered if they are lost in postal transit. This is due to the fact that most items we sell are high-value items.
We use Royal Mail to despatch our orders. All items are insured so if they are lost in postal transit, your money is guaranteed at all times. If this is the case, we will file a claim for missing goods with Royal Mail and upon completion of the claim we will either re-send the goods or refund the full amount to your card. Please be aware this process can take weeks sometimes, as we have to give Royal Mail sufficient time to search for your missing parcel, to avoid it being delivered twice.
All quoted delivery prices are for most UK Mainland addresses. Northern Ireland (BT), Isle of Wight (PO30-37), Isle of Man (IM), Scottish Highlands and Orkney Isles (PA, ML, EH, KA, G, KY, PH, DD, AB, IV, KW), Outer Hebrides and the Shetland Isles (HS, ZE) will SOMETIMES incur additional charges and may also experience delivery delays; morning, Saturday and "next working day" deliveries are optional and will also incur additional charges.
We will only deliver goods to the address on the order to protect against fraud - however you can change your delivery address before completing your order if you wish to have your order delivered to your workplace or elsewhere.
All information provided on the products on this website is intended as a guide only. Dimensions and weights are only approximate, as are colours. If you are ordering goods that are out of stock we will dispatch them when they are received from our supplier.
On occasions goods are subject to availability and delay in delivery of goods is sometimes outside our control. As such, delivery cannot be guaranteed and any dates we specify for the delivery of the goods are approximate only. We shall not be liable for any losses, costs, damages, charges, or expenses caused by any delay for delivery of the goods.
If you are unhappy with the goods received we will refund your order if it is sent back in new, resaleable condition within 21 working days of receipt.
In the interest of providing a swift and seamless experience for our customers we can no longer accept items back for exchange. Instead, you will need to return your original order to us for a refund, and place a new order for the item you require on our website.

We suggest for your own protection you use 1st class registered post so your return can be tracked in transit. Any refunds will be issued once we have received the goods, in the original condition. This refund only includes the total of goods sent not the delivery charge. Unless an error has been made on our part the customer will be liable for the cost of the return postage.
We will not charge a restocking fee for returned items.
Any goods with manufacturing faults on arrival will be replaced or refunded, we will cover return postage costs if a mistake has been made on our part, or your item is defective.
This does not affect your statutory rights.
PRIVACY & COOKIES POLICY
JeanStore is committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use information given at the time of ordering or when making an enquiry by whatever means is collected lawfully and in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.
We do not pass your personal information on to third parties.
All transactions that you initiate with Dee Dee Retail Ltd. on this web site are confidential. Your name will not be added to any third party mailing lists. By placing an order, you are opting in to infrequent, promotional emails from Jean Store only but you can opt out of these at any time.
We never store card details or any highly-sensitive information. All payments are collected by our two payment providers (SagePay & PayPal) and at no point do we ever have access to see the full card details.
THE DATA PROTECTION ACT
Under the terms of the Data Protection Act 1998, we have a duty to protect any information we collect from you. It will not be disclosed to any other organisation unless you give explicit permission, or there is a legal obligation to do so. We collect information about you for two main reasons:
To process your online order.
To provide you with the most efficient possible service.
The information collected will be used to personally keep in touch and let you know of any offers, sales or promotions that JeanStore are carrying out (if you have selected to receive these emails/newsletters). You have the right to opt out of email marketing at any time.

You have a right to request a copy of any personal data held by JeanStore at any time, in order to check its accuracy.
CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
These Terms and Conditions of Sale shall be governed by the laws of England and you agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. We are required by law to inform you that sales can be concluded in English only and that no public filing requirements apply.
