Liam Gallagher certainly hit the spot when he founded the Pretty Green Label in 2009. His motivation, at least according to him, was to produce the clothes that he really wanted to wear himself and was finding it difficult to source. It wasn't a given that others would share his tastes but it appears that they did because the brand was an instant success and continues to go from strength to strength.
So what is Pretty Green all about? Well the collection is inspired by the Mod culture of the 1960's and early 1970's. The Mod's were proud people who valued their clean cut styling. Mod clothing was all about sports inspired polo shirts, tailored suits and fitted shirts and it is a look which is equally sharp and current today.
The Pretty Green collection is the height of retro cool. Sure, it pays tribute to the past, but it also manages to be very now and just oozes rock and roll. Great cuts, quality fabrics and a dash of vintage chic combine to produce a menswear range that hit the ground running and just keeps on going and so we are delighted to showcase Pretty Green here at Jean Store.
Pretty Green polo shirts are available in both long sleeve and short sleeve styles and you can choose from some great colours including navy, black, burgundy, grey and red. If it is possible for a fashion statement to be quiet and unobtrusive and yet really happening then Pretty Green is it and we think this is a brand that will keep us all rocking for the foreseeable.
